My name is Chad Kainz.  It is hard to believe this will be my 22nd year teaching social studies at Hope-Page.  Time flies and many memories have been made with all the students in the past.  I am looking forward to making many more memories this upcoming year with the students and all the activities. .   I have an older brother and a younger sister.  They both have three children and I enjoy watching my nieces and nephews do all their activities.

Besides teaching, I enjoy white-water rafting, hiking, and any activity outdoors.  My favorite sport is football.  My favorite teams beside the Spartans are the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins.  Recently traveling (all over the US or experiencing other countries) has been an increasing thing for me to do.  My travels have broadened my understanding of the world and I've gained a better insight into other cultures.  A favorite traveling quote of mine is.. "All those who wonder are not lost".  We choose our own path and we don't always know what journey we will have.
