A little about myself

I am 22 years old and a graduate of Valley City Public School and Valley City State University. My mom Ranetta, dad Waylan, sister Stephanie and I moved to Valley City about 10 years ago. I have a huge extended family and we are all pretty close! I love hanging out with my family at our cabin on lake Ashtabula. I am a huge animal lover. I have a 12-year old cat, Monty and a 2 1/2 year old chihuahua, Jelly Bean, my baby. She comes and does everything with me! I would rescue every animal if I could. Needless to say, I have brought home lots of animals over the years. On my spare time I love to hang out at the lake, make art, travel and kick it back with friends. My family also follows the UND men’s hockey team very closely and try to make it to as many games as possible! We have even followed them too the Winnipeg Jets Stadium and to Madisen Square Garden in New York to cheer them on! I’ve always loved to learn my self, so why not go into teaching? I love children and young adults. I love watching them grow and learn. I choose Hope-Page because it was close to my family and where I grew up and I had heard only but great things about the community. I moved to Hope in June and haven’t felt anything but welcomed. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I am so thankful I get to teach both of my favorite subjects here in Hope. I will be teaching a variety of Art classes and Technology classes throughout the year and couldn’t be more excited to spread my knowledge and help my students grow. I am very blessed to follow in Mr. Abby’s footsteps. Although, I know I will not ever replace him or the memories he made but I hope to be a close second and a great fit for the Hope-Page school district. I am also very excited to coach girls basketball this winter 😊
