Mrs. Angel Lindseth

My name is Angel Lindseth and this is my fourth year at Hope-Page as the school counselor. I received my bachelor’s degree from VCSU in Elementary Education and Psychology and my master’s degree from the University of Mary in School Counseling. My husband and I have a blended family with six children and we live in Page, ND. We enjoy going to sporting events, traveling and relaxing at our lake home during the summer months.

As a school counselor, I provide students with individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance. School counselors also share resources, ideas, and strategies with classroom teachers to address specific concerns within the individual classrooms. I will be utilizing activities, stories, videos, games, and role play to convey the concepts being presented both in individual, group, and classroom guidance lessons.

  • I will present classroom guidance lessons weekly to grades K-6. Topics include areas such as problem-solving, social skills, character education, coping skills, anger management, career education and Top 20. The guidance lessons covered align with ND state standards for guidance counseling.
  • Individual counseling services are also available to assist students. Occasionally children need assistance with the developmental challenges of making friends and learning appropriate social behavior. Many children also may face changes within their family structure. As a result, children may bring many issues and concerns to school with them, making learning difficult. The school counselor provides a comfortable setting where students can express their feelings and concerns to promote self-understanding and support. If services are needed outside of the school setting the counselor may refer families to community counseling resources.
  • Small group counseling sessions are available to provide students with information and to offer support through a difficult situation. Groups are formed on an as-needed basis and include such topics as study skills, loss, friendship, divorce, etc.

I look forward to discussing how we can work together to best meet the needs of your child. I always enjoy hearing from parents. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
